3D Printed Homes are Coming
Oregon’s first 3D printed homes are coming! We’re teaming with Alquist, the City of Burns and City of John Day Government under a grant from DLCD announced yesterday to design and build the first 3D printed homes in the state next summer. Our goal is to build 100 homes in each community over the next five years! The first build is planned for The Ridge, a master-planned development overlooking the John Day River in City of John Day. The Ridge will provide veteran’s preference housing at a target rental rate of $850 a month for local veterans who honorably served in the armed forces. Excited to work with DLCD, Burns and John Day on this unique and innovative approach to bring essential housing to our communities!
