Lakeview Swimming Pool Opening and Summer Opening Event

Lakeview, Oregon, June 7, 2022 – It’s that time of year again – let’s go swimming! Come out and enjoy the Bullard Canyon views while splashing about in the pool. The Lakeview Swimming Pool opens for the summer season on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Lakeview Swimming Pool, located on Center Street, will operate six days a week (closed Sundays). The pool will be available for public swim Monday-Friday 1:00-4:45 p.m. and night swim 7:00-8:45 p.m.; Saturday 1:00-7:00 p.m. Swim team, lap swim and water aerobics will be available, check website for specific times.

“I’m looking forward to an awesome summer with everyone,” says Alyvia Hamrick, pool manager. Alyvia also serves as the swim team’s coach. She’ll be an excellent addition to this year’s summer pool staff. The Town is thrilled to have her on board!

Entrance Fees:
Lake County School District #7 has generously purchased pool passes for Lake County children for the second year in a row. Kindergarten through twelfth grade passes are offered. This year, kids will enter the pool using their Student ID cards. These will be distributed to students by their school, most students will already have their IDs from this school year. Simply have your youngster bring their ID every time they go swimming.

Pool passes for Plush and Adel students; for the second year, both Plush and Adel schools received grants to purchase pool passes. If you do not fall into one of the above-mentioned student groups, you may get your pool pass at Town Hall, which is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They will also be available for purchase at Tall Town Bike and Camp, which is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Fridays open until 6:00 p.m.).

Family Swim Pass* $275 per season; Individual Swim Pass $150 per season; Individual Swim Team Member $100 per season; Individual Swim Day $5 per day, $20: 6-day package, $40: 13-day package; Water Aerobics and Lap Swim $6 per day, $30: 6 session package. *Family swim pass is immediate family that resides in the home. Ages 5-years and under are free (swim diapers are required for 3-years and younger). 

Individual Swim Lesson: You may request a specific lifeguard, arrange lesson time with lifeguard and pool manger. Individual Swim Lesson – $20 per 1-hour session. Payments are made directly to the lifeguard.

Private Pool Rental: If you are interested in renting the pool for an event or special occasion, please contact Town Hall at (541) 947-2020.

Closure and Refund Policies: Lightning, heavy rain, severe weather, poor air quality, unsafe pool water quality, and any emergencies that may occur. No refunds or rainchecks will be issued.
