The Town of Lakeview says goodbye to Chief Dennis Morrill.

Lakeview, Oregon – September 9, 2022, marked Chief Dennis Morrill’s last day serving as the Lakeview Fire Department and Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department Chief.

Dennis became chief in 2010, he dedicated several years of his life to both the volunteer fire department and dispatch 9-1-1.

It is with great respect we extend our gratitude for Lakeview Fire Chief Dennis Morrill’s years of public service and community safety. Chief Morrill was an outstanding mentor and willing to share his skills and expertise during his career with the Lakeview Fire Department.

The Town and the Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department appreciate all of Dennis’s community contributions while working for the Town. Good luck with your future endeavors. We wish you well.

Town of Lakeview (“Town”) Town is home to approximately 2,300 persons and is in Lake County, Oregon. The Town is managed by a Town Manager. The Town Manager oversees the public works department, fire department, 9-1-1 dispatch, and town hall administration. The public works department oversees the Town’s municipal utilities (water and wastewater) and transportation system (streets). The public works crew operates and maintains the public facilities and utilities that are provided by Town.
