The Town Council met for a Work Session and Regular Session on this subject on Thursday, February 16, 2023. This Work Session and Regular Session concluded a 4 to 1 vote in favor of the skatepark being located at the City Pool Park. Mayor Ray Turner voted for the McDonald Park/Sunshine Building location, Council President Jay Farmen, Council Member Charley Tracey, Council Member Charlie Pike, and Council Member Kyle Deiter voted for the City Pool Park location.
