The Town of Lakeview is seeking three Town citizens to serve as members of the official 2026 Town Budget Committee. These three citizens will serve with three Town officials as the official budget committee for fiscal year 2026-27 and participate in building the official Town budget for the coming fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.Applicant should submit their interest in serving by notifying the Town via email dlepor@townoflakeviewor.gov or by submitting a written letter of interest via mail to Town Budget Committee, 525 N. 1st Street, Lakeview, Oregon 97630 by no later than April 27th at 5pm to be considered. This committee will be appointed by the Town Council on April 28th and will serve as committee members until June 30, 2026. This service will include attending work sessions as needed to build the final official Town budget for the coming fiscal year. Experience in government budgeting and accounting,is desired and service in this role is a voluntary position.
