3. Executive Session – ORS 192.660(2)(f) 12:00- 12:30 PM
The council will meet in executive session under ORS 192.660(2)(f) – To consider and consult with Legal Counsel for the Town of Lakeview regarding the conduct of official Town Business. NO DECISIONS OR ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN EXECUTIVE SESSION
4. Special Meeting Session- ORS 192.610-192.690 12:31-1:00PM
The Council will call to order a “Special Meeting of the Town Council” at 12:31 on August 18, 2026 to discuss and consider a vote authorizing negotiations concerning the Red Rock site to protect the financial interest of the Town of Lakeview. No additional agenda items will be discussed or acted upon in this special meeting called by Town Council of Lakeview, Oregon.
5. The Special meeting will adjourn after consideration and a formal roll call vote of the single action item briefly described above- no additional action items other than opening and closing this special meeting shall take place at this time.
Pursuant to ORS 192.640, this notice includes a list of the principal subjects anticipated to be considered or discussed at the above-referenced meeting. This notice does limit the ability of the council to consider or discuss additional subjects under the special meeting notice. This meeting is subject to cancellation without notice.
The public will not be permitted to attend the executive sessions; provided, however, official representatives of the news media and designated staff will be allowed to attend the executive sessions. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any deliberations conducted during the executive sessions, except to state the general subject of the executive sessions as previously announced. No decision will be made in the executive sessions.
The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling Town Hall, (541-947-2020).
