NOTICE OF WATER SHUT-OFF FOR REPAIRS – (PDF)
Many citizens have noticed the leaking hydrant near the alleyway from N “1” Street to N Center Street. On August 9th from 8am- till the completion of repairs estimated to be complete by 5pm at the latest, water will be shut off to make needed repairs. Water will be shut off impacting all buildings from North Center Street to North 2nd Street. These blocks of Downtown Lakeview will be shut off to replace the leaking fire hydrant. Unfortunately, this will impact all buildings from the east side of “E” Street, the Marius Building, and likely the accounting office and homes along Center Street to the pool until the repairs are completed. We apologize for this inconvenience to your homes and businesses. We are doing this work on Sunday to avoid interference with your weekday operations.
