Executive Session – Mayor’s Statement

The Lakeview Town Council will now meet in executive session. This executive session is held to review attorney-client privileged communications. The executive session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2}(f} – to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.

Representatives of the news media and designated individuals are permitted to attend the executive session. All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any deliberations held during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the executive session as previously announced. No decisions will be made in the executive session.

The council will meet in executive session under ORS 192.660(2){f) – to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.

The executive session is subject to cancellation without notice. The public will not be permitted to attend the executive session; provided, however, representatives of the news media and designated staff will be allowed to attend the executive session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any deliberations occurring during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the executive session as previously announced. No decision will be made in the executive session.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling January 23, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
