Job Purpose: Provide effective and efficient emergency and non-emergency public safety and operational communications services for the Town of Lakeview. The position is FLSA non-exempt and the position is “At-Will.” Assignment of hours is at management’s discretion.

Job Description: Dispatcher

The Town of Lakeview is recruiting for a seasonal full-time Pool Manager. Management experience is preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided by the Town of Lakeview.

 

Job Purpose: This position serves as Manager at the Town of Lakeview public pool facility. The incumbent is responsible for the supervision of pool employees, budget accountability, maintenance of pool facilities, scheduling, safety, providing swim lessons to the public, and creating a positive public image.

Job Description: Pool Manager

The Town of Lakeview is recruiting for a seasonal full-time Lifeguard. Training will be provided by the Town of Lakeview. Lifeguards must be available on weekdays and Saturdays.

 

Job Purpose: This position serves as a Lifeguard at the Town of Lakeview public pool facility. The incumbent is responsible for lifeguard at the community pool, collecting pool fees, providing swim lessons to the public, cleaning, and maintenance of pool facilities, and creating a positive public image.

 

A Lifeguard is responsible for surveying a body of water and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety. Their duties include speaking with swimmers to enforce swimming rules keeping track of each swimmer in the water and administering first aid to injured swimmers.

Job Description: Lifeguard

The Town of Lakeview is recruiting for a temporary seasonal park maintenance employee. Experience is preferred. Some training may be provided by the Town of Lakeview.

Job Purpose:  The Park Maintenance position is a 5-month temporary, part-time position, beginning June 1st and ending October 31st. The Town of Lakeview supplies maintenance equipment, tools, and vehicle. The vehicle is to be used for park maintenance and vehicle work only. An inventory of tools at the beginning of the season must be turned in at the end of the season with justification for any changes.

The position includes maintenance of all three Town parks: McDonald Park (the “Kiddy” park) adjacent to Sunshine Daycare, the Town Park adjacent to the public swimming pool and tennis courts, and Soroptimist as needed.

The Public Works Director supervises the Park Maintenance employee.
