The Town of Lakeview seeks a permanent Town Manager. Lakeview Oregon is the county seat of Lake County and its largest city with 3,043 residents. The Town has recently gone through a series of financial challenges which has resulted in many significant changes to our municipality to restore sustainable financial operation. The Town Council seeks an experienced public administrator who values small town communities and understands the importance of transparent public management. Wanted Public Works Maintenance Worker. Duties include a variety of tasks in the construction, maintenance and repair of Town street and utility systems. Operates light, medium and heavy equipment. Does related work as directed. A significant amount of physical labor will be the duties of this position. Must be able to dig, shovel and move heavy objects as routine elements of this position. Special emphasis for a probationary period will be on Pool and Parks maintenance during the summer of 2026. Must have excellent work ethic, pride in your work and be reliable in performance of your duties. Successful candidate will be hired as a temporary seasonal hire with an opportunity to move into a regular full-time position with Public Works Department in September 2026 upon successfully completing this probationary period. This Position serves as Manager at the Town of Lakeview public pool facility. The incumbent is responsible for supervision of pool employees, budget accountability, maintenance of pool facilities, scheduling, safety, providing swimming lessons to the public, and creating a positive public image.

This position serves as Lifeguard at the Town of Lakeview public pool facility. The incumbent is responsible for lifeguarding at the community pool, collecting pool fees, providing swim lessons to the public, cleaning, and maintenance of pool facilities, and creating a positive public image.
A lifeguard is responsible for surveying a body of water and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety. Their duties include speaking with swimmers in the water and administering first aid to injured swimmers.
