The Town of Lakeview seeks a permanent Town Manager. Lakeview Oregon is the county seat of Lake County and its largest city with 3,043 residents. The Town has recently gone through a series of financial challenges which has resulted in many significant changes to our municipality to restore sustainable financial operation. The Town Council seeks an experienced public administrator who values small town communities and understands the importance of transparent public management. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of public administration experience, a strong record of effective public service and an open and thoughtful approach to public service. This is a career position for someone who is looking to build an effective public works department, strengthen professional town operations and put their management skills to work to ensure Lakeview is a fully compliant and transparent municipal operation. Applicants will be reviewed by a Citizen-led screening committee which will evaluate, interview and recommend a final slate of a minimum of two candidates who will then be invited to Town for a community interview meet and greet with Town citizens and a personal interview with the Town Council.
