Notice of Budget Committee Meetings

Two public meetings of the Budget Committee of the Town of Lakeview, Lake County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, will be held in the months of April, May & June 2022. The first meeting will be held May 4, 2022, at 5:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The second meeting is tentatively scheduled on May 11, 2022, at 5:00 pm and will take place on an as needed basis.

The meetings will be streamed live via the Town’s GoToMeeting platform: https://meet.goto.com/Budget2022-2023. Public comments will be taken in the order they are received. The meetings will be recorded and there will be a link available on the Town of Lakeview’s website at www.townoflakeview.org no later than 5-business days following the meeting.

Comments by GoToMeeting will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meeting on May 4, 2022. Comments will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected online at www.townoflakeview.org or obtained by mail on or after May 11, 2022, via email request to adminassistant@townoflakeview.org or phone request via phone message to 541-947-2020. These are public meetings where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. Any person may provide comment at the meetings. Notice of publication is also available at www.thetownoflakeview.org.
