In 2023, there were remarkable accomplishments! McDonald Park was finished, GIS mapping was completed, a Fire Duty officer truck was acquired, Public Works underwent CDL training, Phase I of the Water Treatment Facility was finalized. Additionally, the URA and New Development Code were adopted, a Water Rate Study was conducted, Clean-Up Day was a success, and a Balanced Budget for FY2023-2024 was passed. New employees and a 911 Director joined, an Economic Development Division was established in Town Hall, and a whirlwind of paperwork was managed.

Manager Meeting Updates
- 911 has been updating and meeting current state regulations and requirements, the 911 Director will be creating a Lakeview 911 Academy and Micro training for full-time 911 dispatchers to create a more professional department as well as purchasing uniforms.
- Phase II and Phase III water treatment facility updated engineering and budget will be made available by February 27, 2024
- North and South Geothermal resources are getting attention with the south end getting cleaned from the scaling that has accumulated over the years and the north end detecting where there is a current leak.
- The Town is looking for grant funding for a Sewer Master Plan, rate study and system development charges rate study.
- Lakeview sanitation is working alongside the Town on the Recycling Act and the DEQ requirements.
- Planning applications for the Planning Department will be held until January 12, 2024, when the new planning code goes into effect.

- RFP for the Small City Allotment Grant to pave Roberta Road is projected to be ready for public bidding early spring 2024.
